Anagallis Arvensis
Anagallis Arvensis, also known as Scarlet Pimpernel, can be found throughout Europe, Asia, the U.S., and some parts of South America. Other names for the plant are Adder's Eyes, Poor Man's Weatherglass, and Red Chickweed. The flowering herb, or above ground flowering parts are used for medicinal purposes. Scarlet Pimpernel contains triterpene saponins, cucurbitacins, flavonoids, and caffeic acid derivatives.
