Are My Sinuses Making Me Ache?Link Found Between Body Aches and Sinus Condition
A recent study found body aches and pains may be due to chronic sinus problems. The researchers found many people with chronic sinus problems may have as many aches and pains as people with either arthritis or depression. The researchers’ treatment of choice was endoscopic sinus surgery. Many of the patients benefited from the surgery and had a reduction in both body aches and pains. many people with chronic sinus problems may have as many aches and pains as people with either arthritis or depressionWhile surgery is an open option, there are many alternative therapies to help support healthy sinuses. Last year saw an explosion in sales of Neti Pots after Dr. Oz mentioned them on Oprah’s show. While I think the Neti Pot is a great product, in practice and for myself I prefer the Nasaline. The Nasaline is like a large syringe which injects saline water into your sinuses. I find it faster and easier to use. Another product I recommend and use for sinus support is Xlear nasal wash. Xlear consists of purified water, saline, grapefruit seed extract and xylitol. Xylitol has been found helpful in supporting healthy sinus bacteria. While sinus surgery for aches and pains may be effective, using an alternative approach first may also be effect and cheaper solution.
