Drinking Water Can Boost Cognitive Performance

Staying hydrated by drinking water has always been known to be good for the health. A recent study, however, found that there is more to it. Caroline Edmonds and colleagues from the University of East London and the University of Westminster suggest that drinking water can help improve one’s performance on tasks that require immediate responses, particularly when a person is thirsty. An evidence presented showed that mild dehydration can affect a person’s ability to think.
