Does Green Tea Prevent Alzheimer’s Disease?

There have been research and reports lately thank link green tea to the prevention of Alzheimer’s Disease. Is this at all true? Three studies were conducted that could possibly find an evidence that proves the efficiency of green tea in preventing the onset of the dreaded disease. First on the list is the study done by Jeffrey B. Blumberg, a director of Tufts’ HNRCA Antioxidants Research Laboratory. He found that “recent studies on flavonoids, phytochemicals especially rich in plant foods like berries and tea, show they may act to promote brain performance and/or reduce the risk for neurodegenerative conditions.”
