Salt Levels In Food Still Too High

Despite the efforts of several private and public health agencies to control the levels of salt in processed food and restaurant food, the issue still persists among many food establishment and factories as reported by the research conducted by the Northwestern Medicine and the Center for Science in the Public Interest.

The result of the study showed that manufacturers and restaurant owners have not made any significant progress in lowering the salt content of their products in the recent years.
