Researchers found that in order to reduce the risk for cardiovascular diseases, one must not smoke, exercise daily, and follow a healthy eating pattern and moderate alcohol consumption. In addition, the study also found that at least 7 hours of sleep at night further reduces one’s risk for heart disease.
