Sugary drinks may up kidney stone risk

Kidney stone is a common medical condition in the United States. In most cases, patients are advised to drink more fluid in order to flush out stones and to prevent more stones from developing later on. A recent study, however, found that some liquid drinks, especially those with high sugar content may increase the risk of developing kidney stones.
