Wormseed
Wormseed (Artemisia cina) is indigenous to Iran, Turkestan, and the Kirghizin Steppes around Buchara. The plant has a distinct, pleasant fragrance, and a bitter taste. The closed flower-buds can be used medicinally. Wormseed contains sesquiterpene lactone beta-santonin. It has been used for anthelmintic and antipyretic effects.
