Lomatium Root

Lomatium Root (Lomatium dissectum) has been used for years. Lomatium is native to the western portion of North America. The North American Indians considered it their most powerful herb. Lomatium root has traditionally been used as an anti-viral and anti-bacterial remedy; especially helpful for respiratory and urinary infections. Lomatium has been used as an immune system stimulator as well as to decrease inflammation.

Lomatium has two main active constituents, tetronic acids and a glucoside of luteolin.
