Fraxinus Bark
Farxinus bark, or Ash, is known scientifically as Fraxinus excelsior. Ash is a member of the Oleaceae family. The dried and fresh leaves are used for medicinal purposes as well as the bark. Ash can be found throughout most of Europe.
At the time there is not much known about Ash bark. It has been indicated for colds, fever, rheumatism, and as a tonic. Fresh Ash bark appears to have anti-inflammatory and pain-killing properties.
