Mayapple Rhizome

Mayapple (Podophyllum peltatum) is a small perennial native to northeastern North America. It is characterized by a small white flower between two leaves and an unpleasant, acrid odor. The dried rhizomes and resin are used for medicinal purposes.

Mayapple condylox and podocon-25 which have both been proven useful for warts. Homeopathic remedies of mayapple have also been used for various digestive tract and liver conditions.
