Corydalis Root
Corydalis is a member of the Fumariaceae family and is scientifically known as Corydalis cava. The tubers are collected from the plant during the dormant season for use. Corydalis Root contains isoquinoline alkaloids. Corydalis has a mildly sedativ effect on the body as well as reduces blood pressure, inhibits movement of the small intestine, and supressed the central nervous system.
