Cedarwood

Juniperus virginiana is the scientific name of Cedarwood. More common, Cedarwood is known as Ashe Juniper, Cedar, Eastern Red Cedar, Red Juniper, Texas Cedarwood, and Virginia Cedarwood. A steam distillation process brings out the Cedarwood oil that contains alpha- and beta-cedrene, cedrol, and cedreol.

Cedarwood is used for cough, broncitis, rheumatism, venereal warts, and skin rash.
