Gallic acid is a colorless crystalline organic acid. It can be found in gallnut, grapes, tea leaves, oak bark, hops, and many other plants. Gallic acid has a free state or can be a part of a tannin molecule.

Gallic Acid appears to have anti-viral and anti-fungal. It has also demonstrated antioxidant properties.
