Although it appears in 6 different colors, the red variety is the one most commonly used. They may also discourage blood platelets from clumping together, thus reducing the risk of dangerous clots. Preliminary research has shown immun modulating, anti-aging, cardiovascular, antiviral, antibacterial, hypoglycemic, and hepatoprotective effects.
