Imperata Extract

Imperata (Imperata cylindrica) is commonly known as Cogongrass. This plant, mostly considered a weed, is native to southeast Asia, although it has been brought to the southeast United States. It is a member of the Poaceae/Gramineae family. Congongrass has been used in tradition folk medicine for colds, diarrhea, dysentery, night sweats, and rheumatism.
