Polygonum Odoratum is another name for Vietnamese Coriander or sometimes, Vietnamese mint. The plant is found in Southeast Asia. It is a creeping/climbing plant with small pink flower and pointed leaves. Polygonum Odoratum has a stong, hot minty flavor. The herb should be used in moderation. It can be found in supplementation, cooking, baking, and as a garnish. Polygonum Odoratum has traditionally been used for nausea, fever, and to promote urination. It is used as a general tonic and to stimulate hair growth. Polygonum Odoratum has anti-inflammatory properites and is used for ulceres, sores, and wounds.
