Schizonepeta

Schizonepeta (Schizonepeta Tenuifolia) is a traditional Chinese herb. It contains d-menthone, menthone, d-Limonene. As part of Chinese medicine, Schizonepeta is known for these properties: releases exterior and expels wind, colds etc., fever due to common cold, headache, laryngitis, carbuncle, epistaxis. Encourages rash to surface and alleviates itching.

Schizonepeta increases circulation and has antiphlogistic effects. It is most commonly used as an itch relief. It also inhibits histamine release.
