Citronella Oil
Citronella Oil (Cymbopogon nardus) is a member of the Poaceae/Framinaea family. It is produced by steam distillation of Cymbogopon species besides Cymbopogon citratus (this is lemongrass, which is not to be confused with citronella oil). Citronella oil has been used as insect repellent. However, this is not its only use. Citronella oil has also been used for fragrance, as a flavoring agent, and as a digestive stimulant and diuretic.
