Digitalis (Digitalis Purpurea) is a member of the Scropulariaceae family. The biennial plant is native to Europe althought it has been brought to America. It is known as Fairy Cap, Fairy Finger, Witch's Bells, Lion's Mouth, Purple Foxglove, Wolly Foxglove, and more. The leaf of digitalis can be used for medicinal purposes. Digitalis contains a variety of glycosides.
