Tarragon extract

Tarragon, also known as Little Dragon and mugwort, is a member of the Asteraceae/Compositae family. Tarragon is used as a culinary herb as well as a flavoring compenent in foods and beverages. All of the above ground parts of this plant can be used medicinally. The main constituent of tarragon essential oil is estragole. Orally, tarragon has been used for digestive disorders, toothache, as an appetite stimulant, and as a diuretic. Tarragon is a rich source of potassium.
