Wild cherry extract
Wild Cherry is known scientifically as prunus serotina. Wild cherry originated in North America and is now cultivated in parts of Europe. The stem bark of wild cherry can be used for medicinal purposes. Wild cherry contians cyanogenic glycosides. It has been used for colds, cough, diarrhea, and digestive disorders. Wild cherry is thought to have antitussive, astringent, and sedative effects. Also, wild cherry is used as a flavoring agent in foods and beverages.
