Kaolin Clay

Kaolin Clay (Hydrated aluminum silicate) is also known as Argilla, Bolus Alba, China Clay, Porcelain Clay, and White Bole. It is often used in cosmetic products, especially face masks. Topically, Kaoline Clay acts as a drying agent and emollent, absorbing a variety of substances. Kaolin also can be incorporated into oral formulations. It is believed to absorb bacteria and toxins in the gastrointestinal tract.
