CDP-Choline

CDP-Choline, also known as Citicoline, is an intermediate compound made during the creation of phosphatidylcholine from choline. Phosphatidylcholine is a major componenet of cell membranes and is critical for the structure and function of all cells.

CDP-Choline can be metabolized into cytidine and choline. These substances then can be absorbed and taken to the brain cells. From there, the substances can take part in a variety of action necessary for proper body functioning.
