DIM
Diindolylmethane, DIM, is a stable indole that can be found in curciferous vegetables, such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, and brussle sprouts. It is obtained by crushing. Pure diindolylmethane is stable in water and acidic but insoluble and cannot be absorbed by the body. Therefore, absorption-enhanced, or bioavailable, formulas have been created to help promote estrogen metabolism in both men and women. Diindolylmethane is often compared to its precursor, Indole-3-Carbinol (I3C) for health benefits.
