Cassia Bark
Cassia Bark is commonly known as Cassia cinnamon, Cinnamomum, Cassia Aromaticum, Cassia Lignea, Chinese Cinnamon, Cortex Cinnamomi, False Cinnamon, and Cinnamomi. The scientific name of Cassia Bark is Cinnamomum artomaticum, or Cinnamomum cassia. The bark and the flower are used in herbal formulas. Cassia bark contains volatile oils that enhance health.
Cassia Bark is used for type 2 diabetes, flatulence, muscle and gastrointestinal spasms, preventing nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, infections, the common cold, and loss of apetite.
