Lavandin
Lavandin (Lavandula hybrida) is often blended with other oils. Lavandin is similar to lavender however, it is more penetrable and has a sharper smell. Lavandin is actually a hybrid, a cross between lavender officinalis and spike lavender. It is used extensively is soapmaking and body care. Lavandin originated in France although it is now cultivated throughout Europe.
