Oleuropein

Oleuropein is an olive leaf extract with antiviral, antibacterial, and antioxidant activity. Oleuropein helps destroy the bad bacteria while preserving good. Oleuropein works by seeking out the bacteria, dissolving the outer lining of the infectious germs and then it penetrates the infected cells, thus inhibiting the replication of the bacteria. Olive leaf extract has also been indicated for lowering blood pressure. One of oleuropein's important antioxidant activities is the reduction of LDL oxidation. Oleurooein is the main active constituent of olive leaf extract.
