Birch
Birch (Betula species) is a tree with white bark. The bark, leaves, and buds can be used for medicinal purpsoes. Birch is a member of the Betulaceae family. It contains vitamin C, flavonoids, proanthocyanidins, volatile oil, monoterpene glucosides, and caffeic acid derivatives. Birch is used for urinary support. Birch may have diuretic properties as well as help with rheumatism.
