Java Tea
Java Tea (Orthosiphon spicatus/Orthosiphon aristatus) is found throughout Southeast Asia and tropical Australia. The leaves and stem tips are used medicinally. Java Tea leaves have a dry, salty and bitter taste. The plant can grow up to three feet and has blue to light violet flowers. Java tea has been used for kidney and bladder stones, liver and gallbladder problems, urinary tract infections, and rheumatism.
