Active Ingredients: Psyllium seed husks, 3.5 grams per dose; Senna extract providing 15 mg sennosides per dose.
Suggested Use
Usual Adult Dosage: 1 heaping teaspoon, one to three times a day.
Children (6-12): Half adult dose.
Directions: Start by taking 1 dose each day. Gradually increase to 3 doses per day as needed. Mix this product (child or adult dose) with at least 8 ounces (a full glass) of juice, water or other fluid. Drink immediately. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking. See warnings. Drinking additional liquid is helpful. If minor gas or bloating occurs, reduce the amount you take until your system adjusts. For relief of occasional irregularity; results generally within 6 to 12 hours.
Warnings/Cautions
Do not use this product when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present. Do not use for more than one week without consulting a doctor. This product may cause allergic reaction in people sensitive to inhaled or ingested psyllium. Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty in swallowing. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention. Keep out of the reach of children.
