Vegan Glucosamine Is a product that has met my needs without having the adverse side affects of other products.

Due to joint problems caused by hip and shoulder war injuries, my PCP prescribed glucosamine. Without looking at the contents source, I took one of the OTC products available. I had a severe allergic reaction. Even though shellfish is listed as an allergen in my medical record, my PCP did not know OTC glucosamine was made with shellfish chitin. I did a web search and found a product made with chicken cartilage. I was also allergic to that product. Further search found Deva Nutrition Vegan Glucosamine MSM and CMO tablets. They worked great and I have been taking them three times daily for several years. I have no adverse affects. I have told other physicians of the OTC product being made with shellfish Chaitin. To date, I have not found a single doctor that knew the product was made with shellfish chitin. That included my dermatologist. Check OTC product labels before YOU take them.
