Ginkgo biloba, Phosphatidylcholine, L-Carnitine
Enhances blood circulation to the brain
Maintains healthy brain function
Helps increase alertness & concentration
Fish Oil – This "brain food" is critically needed by our brain cells to function. The essential fatty acids in fish oil EPA and DHA act as brain fuel and prevent inflammation. DHA helps memory (Gamold Et Al 2001). EPA given to Alzheimer's patients caused improvement (Otsuka 2000) since the neuron (the brain cell) is composed of about 30% DHA . It's no wonder that memory is positively affected.
B12 - This member of the B complex vitamin family has an affinity to solving memory problems. All ages are benefited by this nutrient but for the elderly and those with digestive problems it's imperative. The New England Journal Of Medicine reported on association of memory loss with B12 deficiency (Lindenbaum Et Al 1988). Memory improvement with B12 supplementation was shown in the Annals of Internal Medicine, Carmel 1996.
Acetyl L Carnitine – An amino acid that's responsible for normal neuron and brain function. Age associated cognitive decline was reversed with A.L.C. (proceeding of Nat. Academy Of Sciences, Liv Et Al 2002). This and many other studies emphasize A.L.C. ability to help brain cells communicate, providing the base for better memory and learning. Beta-Amyloid, one suspected cause of Alzheimer's Disease, was prevented by A.L.C. supplementation (Virmani Et Al 2001 ). This may be due to A.L.C. antioxidant and molecular chaperone effects.
Ginkgo Biloba, one of the best selling supplements in Europe is well known for its memory enhancing activity by increasing circulation and antioxidants to the brain. Ginkgo helped prevent short term memory loss in early diagnosed Alzheimer's (Jama, Lebars Et Al 1997). Even just one (1) dose of Ginkgo improved memory in healthy subjects (Subhan Et Al 1984). Hundreds of scientific studies are in Ginkgo's repretoir.
Phosphatidylcholine – Is a component of acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter that carries messages between brain cells. It even helps with amnesia (Masuda Et Al 1998). So of course with basic memory and learning (Higgins Et Al 2000).
