A Few E-cloth Tips •Fold the cloth and use as a pad. This ensures good contact of cloth with the surface at all times. •Use the cloth from side to side or top to bottom of the surface to be cleaned, rather than rubbing around the area. This ensures that dirt on the surface is collected rather than smeared. Heavy-Duty Cloths – For cleaning thick grease and dirt. •Wet thoroughly, wring out all excess water, fold and use as a pad. Can rinse cloth as you clean. •For really heavy dirt, use wet before finishing damp. In some circumstances, such as heavy grease and dirty windows, use hot or warm water. •For best results, then finish with a Glass & Polishing Cloth or Finishing Cloth. Lighter-Weight Cloths – For cleaning light grease and dirt from glass and shiny surfaces. •Spray water onto the surface to be cleaned, fold a dry cloth and wipe. •Or use dry after a damp General Purpose / Heavy-Duty Cloths. E-cloth Care & Laundering For most day-to-day use a warm rinse under the faucet is enough to ready your E-cloth for the next cleaning task. Washing Instructions: When E-cloths and E-cloth mop heads become so soiled as to require a thorough cleaning, machine wash in hot water (up to 200°), or boil in a saucepan. There are a few exceptions that should be machine-washed at a lower temperature (Dusting Cloths, Drinkware Drying & Polishing Towel, Dry Mop Head and Sponge Cloth). See their individual product listing that follows. Use minimal detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Tumble or air dry. Drinkware Drying & Polishing Towel Wipe towel on wet or dry glassware to dry or to remove residual grease and dirt. Machine-wash at medium temperature (140°F). Higher temperatures may result in some shrinkage.
