l-Alpha-glycerophosphatidylcholine (GPC-choline, alpha-GPC) is a water-soluble phospholipid metabolite naturally occurring in the body. Alpha-GPC passes through the blood brain barrier providing a source of choline for acetylcholine and phosphatidylcholine biosynthesis.
