An oral electrolyte and nutrient product for diarrhea and vomiting in children
Rehydrate and replace electrolytes lost from diarrhea or vomiting
Two-year shelf life - use only what you need
Great tasting natural orange flavor
Added B-vitamins, vitamin C, calcium, and chromium
In acute viral illnesses, dehydration and electrolyte loss can be significant, so it is important to rehydrate and replace lost electrolytes and other nutrients. This is especially true for children, as they may be less able to physiologically withstand the effects of diarrhea, vomiting, or fever. Getting children rehydrated can be a challenge, as the salty taste of many oral electrolyte solutions doesn't appeal to kids. Fruit juices, fruity drinks, and sports drinks contain too much sugar, which can make diarrhea worse. They also don't contain the necessary electrolytes. Neither does plain water. PureLyte Pediatric contains the sodium, potassium, and chloride electrolytes necessary for cellular function, as well as added vitamin C, B-vitamins, calcium, and chromium for nutritional support of cellular energy production, immune function, and blood sugar.
PureLyte Pediatric is an electrolyte, vitamin, and mineral powder that, when mixed with pure water, makes a great tasting oral rehydration solution. It comes in two flavors - lemon-lime and orange. PureLyte isn't too sweet and doesn't have the salty taste that makes products like Pedialyte® a challenge for many parents.
