Jarrow formulas® IP6 contains 500 mg of purified Inositol Hexaphosphate (IP6) from rice bran extracted in Japan. IP6 is a phosphorylated form of inositol commonly found in fiber-rich plant foods. IP6 supports immunity and cardiovascular health by enhancing Natural Killer (NK) cells and chelating reactive iron to protect against damaging hydroxyl free radicals.*

Other Ingredients

Rice flour and magnesium stearate (vegetable source). Capsule consists of gelatin.

Suggested Use

Take 1 to 6 capsules per day on an empty stomach, or as directed by your qualified health care consultant. Do NOT take at the same time of day as minerals or medications. IP6 is an efficient mineral chelator and therefore should be taken only on an empty stomach.

Does Not Contain

No wheat, no gluten, no soy, no dairy, no egg, no fish/shellfish, no nuts/tree nuts.

Warnings/Cautions

Do not use if anemic, pregnant, or lactating since IP6 can chelate with nutrients. Do not take with any other nutrient or medication. Keep out of the reach of children.

Ideal for enhancing phytic acid intake, which is too low because of poor quality of high-yield food crops. Considered the counternutrient to iron. To fight iron overload disease, I have taken it for over a year now. Works great. Is affordable, too. Five stars!

Have not noticed any side effects. Preventively, I keep the kidneys extra warm.
