A unique herbal formulation for GI probiotic balance, the culmination of efforts to combine probiotic enhancers into a mixed formulation.* TriBiotics contains berberine sulfate, artemisinin, citrus seed extract and black walnut hulls. Berberine is the active constituent of goldenseal, while artemisinin, or qinghaosu, is the active constituent of Artemisia annua and is hundreds of times stronger than the whole herb itself. Black walnut, goldenseal and artemisia are herbs that have been used traditionally for microbial balance.* Combining them with citrus seed extract (from grapefruit) gives the formula increased potential to support balanced intestinal microbiology.*

Suggested Use

Warnings/Cautions

CAUTION: Artemisinin produces an oxidizing effect in the stomach and intestines. Not indicated for pregnant or nursing women. Long-term administration (greater than 1 month) should be monitored by a healthcare practitioner and include liver enzymes and hemoglobin testing. Combining with antioxidants or iron may theoretically decrease effectiveness. Detoxification reactions may be experienced by some individuals. In rare cases may cause idiosyncratic liver dysfunction. Variations in product color may occur. Keep in a cool, dry place, tightly capped.
