Shu Di Huang
Shu Di Huang, or Rehmmania, is a traditional Chinese herb; the perennial plant has reddish-violet flowers. It is indigenous to China, Japan, and Korea. The root tuber can be used medicinally. Shu Di Huang is used as a diuretic and to strengthen the liver, kidney, and heart. Shu Di Huang is also a popular remedy for irregular menstruation. It is used for lowered immunity, headache, fever, and rheumatism. Most importantly, Shu Di Huang nourishes and tonifies the blood.
